Adult and Child CPR Train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults and children.
Adult CPR Train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergenices in adults.
Adult, Child & Infant CPR Train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults and children.
Babysitter's Training This course covers the responsibilities of the sitter, characteristics of children, selection of games and toys, accident prevention, basic care, first aid skills , and how to market your babysitting skill safely. This course is desined to teach children 11 to 14 years of age.
CPR/AED for Profess. Rescuer Challenge Challenge courses are designed for individuals who feel confident in both their technical and written knowledge. Participants will demonstrate their technical skills with little or no coaching and must successfully pass the written test with a minimum score of 80%. Participants who cannot successfully achieve the above requirements will need to enroll in the full course. Prices do not include textbooks or pocket mask - may be purchased separately.
CPR/AED for the Profess. Rescuer Review All review courses cover the information as the regular courses except in a shorter amount of time for those who need to renew their current certificate. Equivalent to Basic Life Support (BLS).
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer This course is designed for people who have a duty to respond such as lifeguards and other health professionals. Professional rescuers will learn the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Equivalent to Basic Life Support (BLS)
Lifeguard Training This course teaches lifeguard candidates the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. This course content and activities prepare candidates to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, and prevent drowning and injuries
Lifeguard Training Challenge This course offers individuals the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency outside a formal class setting.
Lifeguard Training Instructor This course will train candidates to teach: basic level Lifeguarding and Shallow Water Attendant (all including First Aid), Lifeguard Management, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens Training and Basic Water Rescue. Instructor candidates will also become familiar with Guard Start: Lifeguarding Tomorrow and Water Safety presentations.
Lifeguard Training Review This course gives individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal class setting.
Standard First Aid Skills taught include how to recognize and treat bleeding, shock, burns, sprains, fractures, poisoning, heat/cold emergencies, and sudden illness.
Standard First Aid with Adult CPR Skills taught include Adult CPR, rescue breathing, care for conscious and unconscious choking adults and first aid for bleeding, shock, eye injuries, fractures, sprains, poisoning, stroke, and seizures.
Standard First Aid with Adult/Child CPR Skills taught include Adult and Child CPR, rescue breathing, care for conscious and unconscious choking children, and first aid for bleeing shock, eye injuries, fractures, sprains, poisoning, stroke, and seizures.
Standard First Aid with Child/Infant CPR This course trains lay responders to overcome reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in chilren and infants. It also provides the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
Std. First Aid w/ Adult,Child Infant CPR Skills include rescue breathing, care for conscious and unconscious choking adult, infant and child, CPR for adults, infants and children, and first aid for sprains, bleeding, shock, fractures, poisoning, and seizures.
Water Safety Instructor This course trains instructor candidates to teach water safety, including the Basic Water Rescue course, six levels of the Learn-to-Swim and Parent/Child Aquatics courses.
Wilderness First Aid This 16-hour course covers all of first aid within the wilderness situations where EMS is an hour or several hours away and may even involved transport out. |
