Bank of America Volunteers Help Those Who've Served Our Country

Bank of America Community volunteers took a couple of hours out of their Sunday afternoon to package hygiene kits and book bags for our local Red Cross unit.  These kits will be distributed to soldiers overseas.  Bank of America Community volunteers work locally with non-profit organizations such as the Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Susan Komen foundation,etc. providing support for events, participating, and volunteering on an individual basis.  In an effort to better provide volunteer services, Bank of America Community Volunteers have engaged in additional projects outside of the typical blood drives with the Red Cross.  The Red Cross assists military families while soldiers are overseas by providing different services such as the hygiene kits. 
 
Everyone had a great time knowing that these kits for both the soldiers and students will be well used and needed.  Even our youngest volunteer, Tyler Jordan who is 10 enjoyed his time volunteering and eating pizza as a treat!!
